The US House of Representatives has passed a measure that seeks to halt President Donald Trump from taking further military action in Iran. The 215-208 vote was successful after four Republicans joined Democrats in a rare public show of disapproval of the war, which began in February. This is the fourth attempt by the House to rein in Trump's war powers, which critics say lack congressional approval. The House resolution still needs approval from the Republican-controlled US Senate. Even if it were successful in the Senate, the measure is unlikely to fully curb military action against Iran. Trump could veto the measure, which would require a two-thirds majority in both chambers to nullify. Tap the link in @BBCNews's bio for more on the resolution being passed. (📷 EPA, Getty) #BBCNews

Presenting one of our three Summer issue covers with the leading men of @theodysseymovie: Robert Pattinson as Antinous. Pattinson’s part in The Odyssey is not big—he plays the cockiest of the many suitors who have installed themselves at Ithaca, seeking the hand of Penelope (played by Anne Hathaway) while Matt Damon’s Odysseus is away. “My character’s a little like James Woods in Casino. That was my inspiration for it,” Pattinson said. “He’s like a little sleazy. I kept saying at my costume fitting, ‘I really want to have leopard underpants.’” Pattinson talks to GQ’s @zachbaron about teaming up with Nolan again for The Odyssey, alongside co-stars Matt Damon and Tom Holland, at the link in bio.
