The famous rainbow cows. Where are they now? 🌈🐮 This photo of Marshmallow and Bean was taken back in February 2021 when they were just 6 months old. The photo went viral and became my most popular photo ever. Fun fact: Marshmallow and Bean were actually best friends and spent every moment together 🥹 Marshmallow and Bean are dairy cows and calved for the first time in August 2022. Bean completed two lactations but didn’t get pregnant during the 2023/2024 season. Since she was my pet, I carried her over empty so she could have a year off and a second chance. However, in the 2024/2025 season she didn’t get pregnant again, so I decided to rehome her. She now lives at @te_paranui_farm_sanctuary 🤍 I have one daughter from Bean called Barbie 💗 Marshmallow is still with me and has just completed her 4th lactation. She’s due to calve again in August and now has a daughter called Mallowpuff and a granddaughter called Millie. When Marshmallow is finished being a dairy cow, I plan to retire her myself 🥹 Swipe to see a recent photo of each cow.
