40 years of growth in Las Vegas 🏙️ The @nasa @usgs Landsat satellites can sense bigger changes in land cover, such as deforestation or urbanization. Landsat has also been studying our planet for nearly 54 years now. Such a long data record means that scientists can analyze how these changes unfold over the course of decades.
