Journeying to almost 5,000 meters above sea level, they offer a song to the Snow Lion, a prayer for the protection of the melting glaciers and the lives they sustain. The mythical Snow Lion has stood as a guardian to the Himalayas. However, as global warming accelerates and we lose our glaciers inch by inch, the noble Snow Lion now loses its home along with the billions displaced along the web of the rivers and its tributaries that the Himalayan glaciers feed.
