The past few months it’s become really hard for me to shake off the feeling of wanting more children. But we’re at that time again when we received the reminder, of whether or not to keep our embryos frozen ❄️ We have 4 weeks left on this years storage. We have 3 high grade embryos in the freezer. Things that go through my mind everyday in some way or form: - Am I too old to go through it again? (38 this yr) - Will my knee be able to take the weight of pregnancy? - Do we have the space? - Can we afford double nursery fees? - what if it’s twins? -what if it ends in miscarriage? -what if I have complications? - what can we sacrifice to have another one? Then I think….. It’s easier with 2, we have one of each. Most family activities, holidays, seating etc are a family of 4 (right down the rabbit hole). I just don’t know how I feel. But I do think if we didn’t have any frozen embryos, I would be happy and content with our family of 4. I think for now, we will be paying for another years storage and seeing how we feel after some more time has passed. But that for me is the end. We’ve put so much on hold to go through our infertility and IVF journey. How does anyone decide?
