Life has done a complete 180 in the past 6 months … This starts my journey of going from White Collar to Pink Collar 🎀 ep. 1 Let’s break that down - WHITE COLLAR 👩🏾‍💻👔🧠 noun — Professional work rooted in corporate, administrative, or intellectual labor. PINK COLLAR 🩷🫂💪🏾 noun — Service and care-oriented work centered on people and support. I was in the tech industry for just about 10 years, and though I loved what I was doing for most of my career, sh*t started to get weird with AI… that we can discuss next time 😅 . Apart from that? The sedentary lifestyle of sitting at a computer all day was starting to wear thin on my body… well, I don’t think there’s a universe when I am considered thin 🤣 but my edges were for sure! @briogeo helped bring them back though 😅 Since the support you all gave me as a Fitness Content Creator inspired me to get a personal training certification during the Pandemic and helped me grow a brand that has worked with top fitness/wellness names, I KNEW it was time to fully transition into something I loved - helping women feel confident in their body image & abilities. Within a month of being laid off, I floated into what feels like a dream opportunity to help real human beings connect and grow with their bodies. When I say God is good, I mean it 🥹 I’m settling into being a full-time Fitness/Wellness professional and am ready to share more about everything I’ve learned and everything I’m going to do with this new perspective on life… for me, and hopefully, for you ladies!
