Another local long-eared owl displaying its impressive wingspan. What a magnificent bird - I am in awe of nature in moments like this! I took this shot a couple of years ago but never posted on Instagram. Hope you enjoy. I seem to remember this was taken on a late summer evening, although I also seem to remember getting really cold hands waiting for it to come out hunting.
