A dream within a dream at Lake Como’s most iconic Villa Serbelloni @villaserbellonibellagio where every corner is pure opulence. I still can’t believe we are here, it truly feels like a dream… Perched on the tip of charming Bellagio, where the two arms of Lake Como gracefully meet, the storied villa is a portal to a bygone era with its high frescoed ceilings and sparkling chandeliers throughout, central grand marble staircase, and sweeping views. It was originally built in the mid-1850s when one Count Frizzoni of Bergamo commissioned it as birthday gift for his beloved wife. The entire villa is adorned with breathtaking frescoed ceilings, each one a masterpiece that carries the weight of centuries. I find myself constantly gazing upward, mesmerized by the delicate details and vivid colors, and dreaming about the artists who once stood on scaffolds high above, devoting endless hours to their craft.
