Margrethe’s 6 little piglets have now also entered the dance scene. They are a bit smaller, but they are just as enthusiastic about getting their butt-scratches as Daisy’s are🤩 After a somewhat tough start for Margrethe, a sense of everyday routine is beginning to settle in. Both Daisy and Margrethe are now comfortable around each other and their respective piglets. Granted, their tempers can still flare up over the smallest things, but neither of them backs down, and they calm down again quickly. It’s wonderful to see that they are finding a way despite our slightly unfair setup with their nesting areas right next to each other😇 I think it means a lot that they are sisters and have always been together, and that’s also why we’ve put so much effort into avoiding separating them. If they are apart for a longer period, it can become a much bigger task to bring them back together again. New routines, hierarchy, and comfort with being close to each other would need to be re-established over time, and potential conflicts could result in stress and, in the worst case, injuries.
