The sunrises over Derwent Water and the town of Keswick in the northern Lake District as seen from the summit of Catbells. I set off at around 5am with the walk to the top fortuitously starting from just behind where we were staying in the Borrowdale valley. Arrived at the top around 10 minutes before the sunrise was scheduled to appear and made it my priority to find some foreground rocks for the shot, settled on this formation which is about 20 meters down from the summit. Captured at a 16x9 ratio to eliminate the empty blue sky and create a panoramic feel to the photo.
