The light were always perfect around 5. ⁣ I passed the house several times throughout the years. Noted some renovating, distinguished new branches on the majestic tree, observed the relaxed street life in the neighbourhood.⁣ One day, there was a woman sitting on the balcony. ⁣ I knew I needed to document the house, as it had turned into a painting.⁣ The shimmering light on the facade with her blending in.⁣ ⁣ ⁣• • • • • • • • • • More than a year after, I came back to the house with a framed print under my arm. ⁣ The woman in the painting was outside, smiled and pointed at the balcony where she use to sit, ⁣while looking at the photograph.⁣ She entered the house with the print as I left, through a golden hour lit Bissau. ⁣ ⁣• • • • • • •
