I already wanted to participate in this trend, but then my server at my favorite bakery literally looked at me and said “You look refreshed,” so here we go: Thanks, I… 🥐 Ate and drank what I wanted- including pastries every morning, dairy and sugar in my coffee, wine at every meal, and gelato every evening (literally). 👟Walked everywhere. Miles and miles…and loving every second of absorbing the architecture and people watching. ☀️Stood in the sunshine. In all that walking, I had the chance to actually absorb the morning light, let the afternoon sun tan my skin, and feel the golden hour dance around me each evening. It was life-giving, and nothing that the temperatures and humidity in Florida would have ever allowed. ⏰ Let mornings be slow. We stopped at “our” coffee shop every morning on the way to school. We got a cappuccino, fresh orange juice, a cornetto, and a cookie (for Senna 🤣) 💓 Shared life with a community of like-minded parents stripped of status symbols. No cars. No houses. Just values and real conversations. 💅🏻Got dressed every day. Who knew this would be such a confidence game-changer?
