It feels surreal to write this. We are six months into the pregnancy and even now it still feels hard to fully understand that it’s real. Then I feel the small kicks and suddenly everything feels real again. Our child is on the way?! Thank you for all the love and congratulations. We’ve received so many kind messages and it means more than you know. If I haven’t replied yet, forgive me. We are overwhelmed, not just by the messages haha, but by the magnitude of what is happening. A child is gonna change everything. For many years my life was mostly about me. My goals, my looks, my freedom, my next move. That chapter gave me a lot, but it also taught me that a life centered only around yourself can never fully satisfy you and it is impossible to keep feeding your ego. I’ve lived abroad for years, searching in many places for something I couldn’t fully name. Now that I’ve finally found a home, I realize what I wanted most was never more status or more validation. It was this. Love. Stability. My own little family. Not a billboard, not millions in my bank account and, but still that stupid car. (😉) To become a father is humbling. It makes you look at your life honestly. It makes you want to grow up in the best sense of the phrase. To become stronger, calmer, wiser, more dependable. To build something that lasts beyond yourself. And to those sending negativity: your opinions are small compared to the joy we feel😘 Yes, I am Danish and yes my partner is Thai. Yes, we are building a family together. The world has always moved forward through love, not narrow minds. Stop talking about races and bs. We are all entitled to have an opinion, but sometimes think twice before you comment. Some days the hate gets through. I’m human. But it cannot compete with what we feel. There is a child on the way. And already, that child is changing me for the better. Thank you for following me through all these years. The best is still yet to come ❤️
